Pietersite is said to help you relax and release limits placed on your creativity and allows you to recognize your divine potential. Mined in China and Africa. Mohs hardness of 7.
We bought this Pietersite during our last trip to China and were excited to find 5 tons of a very hard to get material. As we began to slab the material we discovered it had a lot of quartz inclusions. The finished beads were blue & gold with translucent quartz streaks. These beads are not a traditional looking Pietersite, but rather a new version with softer streaks of blue, gold and transparent quartz.
