Stone of the Month Information (January)

Show Schedule

This is one of my favorite times of year. We are just wrapping up the Holiday season and I'm setting my adventure compass south to Tucson for the biggest Gem and Mineral show in the world. Getting away from the Minnesota winter and into the Arizona desert is always something to look forward to.

JEFFJeff just returned from his China trip where he met with our stone cutters and looked at material. Jeff searches for the newest and greatest in stone and it arrives just in time for the Tucson show. So be sure to stop by our booth. If you cannot make it to Tucson, we will be posting new material on our website and as always, can provide your store with a pick box.

SOTMStone of the Month
January's Stone of the Month:

Smoky Quartz Necklace

Smoky Quartz: Smoky quartz is named after its smoky color which is caused by gamma rays. The color of Smoky quartz is variable from brown to black and sometimes smoky gray. Sunglasses, in the form of flat panes of smoky quartz, were used in China in the 12th century. Smoky quartz is nature's stone of endurance. If you need an extra boost, carry a smoky quartz gemstone with you. It enhances organizational skills and is good to have around in the workplace or home office.
