ds Pantone 2016: Rose Quartz & Serenity
Posted by Dakota Stones to Articles
"Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace."
- Leatrie Eiseman, Pantone Color Institute
Rose Quartz and Serenity were thoughtfully chosen by the Pantone Institute in part to represent mindfulness and well-being as we confront the stresses of modern day living. Dakota Stones has chosen our Rose Quartz and Angelite stones to signify the Pantone 2016 Colors, both of which denote qualities of calm, warmth and a state of conscious awareness.
ds Morganite also contains both of the Pantone 2016 hues along with beautiful accent colors to mix and match!

ROSE QUARTZ is a pale pink to rose red semi-transparent quartz. Metaphysically, Rose Quartz is known as the "love stone" for it's healing, calming, joy, and qualities of warmth. Rose Quartz is thought to amplify energy and is commonly used in calming meditation and jewelry-making to stimulate romance and sensuality.

Mined in Madagascar, India, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, and South Dakota.
Mohs hardness: 7 AKA: Strawberry Rose Quarts, Bohemian Ruby
ANGELITE is a natural blue quartz. Metaphysically, some believe it raises the state of conscious awareness and facilitates contact with your angels.
Mined in Africa, it is also known as Angelita and Angelite Quartz.
Mohs hardness 7.
